Surrendering A Pet

Friends of Duke Rescue is a foster based organization run by hard working volunteers. Because of this our resources are very limited when placing animals. We will do our best to help those in need. An appointment/surrender form is required to relinquish an animal to FDR. Once you have filled out the surrender form, FDR staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Here at FDR we understand that some pet owners often fall on hard times. We strive to have a positive relationship with our community and in doing so, we do our best to help owners and pets stay together. If a situation is beyond FDR’s capability we can help to point you in the right direction. We believe keeping pets and people together is often the best outcome for the pets, the people, and the community. If you need help or have questions send us an email at friendsofdukerescue.org.

*Please note that at this time FDR does not take animals that have bitten anyone or have aggressive behaviors. We only accept cats and dogs.
